Trader Joe’s: cookie butter & a few other MUST buys!

I was so excited when I heard about Trader Joe’s coming to  my town. I had heard so much of the amazing cookie butter and knew I needed it in my life.

trader joes cookie butter is not the only thing that you need to try

And my God it’s so good, if you have yet to try it…you are missing out big time, friend. I honeslty like the store a lot in general. I go there like every other week. I like it for several reasons.  First of all, it is a small store, not overwhelming with tons of brands where you have to try to compare prices and brands. Secondly, I can take my kids there easily because it’s just a few aisles. Lastly, all the employees are helpful, and the cashiers are freakishly fast, so you don’t wait in line forever.  I was able to discover a few other things  beside the cookie butter that I have loved and wanted to share it with you!

Here are some of my favorites:

flower dept at traders joes alone is worth drive over there

Flowers: I love fresh flowers, but I thought having fresh flowers at your house was only for the fancy, wealthy, or just perfect families on television. But thanks to Trader Joe’s, I have fresh flowers all the time at my house, because it is so cheap compared to other stores. Their floral department is not huge, but offers a good selection of great quality flowers. I frequently buy their hydrangeas, which last 3 weeks. The roses last 2 weeks and the mixed arrangements last 1 week. The flowers themselves are worth a drive over there!

Almond Butter: Many of my friends told me about how much more they prefer the Trader Joe’s brand compared to even the pricier ones from other stores. It is smooth and yummy.

Spinach & Kale Greek Yogurt dip: You guys, I stood there staring at this debating whether or not to give it a try. I am so glad I did! It is a great healthy alternative to the regular spinach dip.

Aloo chaat Kati Pouches: I am Indian and my dad was a chef, so I am pretty snobby when it comes to Indian food, period. I am even more skeptical of Indian frozen food at non-Indian stores. But this was so good. The flavors are truly authentic and it has a kick to it because the chutney is actually inside the kati roll. It is basically like a Indian hot pocket, y’all…you have to try it!

Here are my husband’s favorites:
